Dani Sinclair
An avid reader all her life, Dani Sinclair still enjoys curling up with a good book and letting the writer take her on a new adventure. Even as a child she was compelled to tell her own tales, writing her first complete "book" on notebook paper in pen and ink when she was in high school. Even though her sister and close friends encouraged her, it was a hobby for her until her sister asked her to write a romance novel.
Her first published novel, Mystery Baby, debuted in May of 1996. Her twenty-fifth full-length published novel, Bodyguard to the Bride, hit the shelves in September of 2008.
Ms. Sinclair is proud to be a two-time RITA finalist, for her third Intrigue novel, Better Watch Out, as well as her twenty-fourth Intrigue novel, Midnight Prince. The Specialist won the Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Award for Best Harlequin Intrigue of 2000, and in March 2001, Romantic Times nominated Ms. Sinclair for a Career Achievement award in the Series Romantic Suspense category.
Ms. Sinclair has been profiled in The Journal Newspaper, Romantic Times, The Gothic Journal and Harlequin’s Reader Service Heart to Heart overseas. She’s spoken to many different organizations and various reader and writer’s groups on books and writing.
Ms. Sinclair and her husband reside outside Washington DC where they share their home with four indoor cats, a small feral colony and the varied wildlife that passes through, stopping to feed at their bird feeders on a daily basis. They are active volunteers with a local animal rescue group and urge everyone to be responsible pet owners.
