2010 begins an exciting new year for our authors. Please share about your upcoming releases and/or what projects you'll be working on in 2010.
B.J. Daniels:
My newest Whitehorse 6-book mini series begins in
2010, Whitehorse:
Winchester Ranch Reloaded. The first book, Gun-Shy Bride, comes out in April and introduces heroine Deputy McCall Winchester
in what is my favorite book. McCall is the black sheep of the Winchester
family. She has spent her life living in the shadow of the Winchester
Ranch--a place she has never been welcome because of a grandmother who
has never accepted her or her mother. But all that changes when
McCall finds a shallow grave and remains within sight of the ranch. The
case takes her to the Winchester Ranch and finally face-to-face with her
reclusive grandmother for the first time. Carol Erickson: The McClintock Brothers series that began with Circumstantial Memories in February '09 continues in 2010 with three more books featuring the remaining three McClintock brothers of Silverhill, Colorado. First is youngest brother, Rafe McClintock's story, The Sheriff of Silverhill, in January 2010. Next up is oldest brother Rod McClintock's story in September 2010 (as yet untitled but will probably be McClintock's Bride). Finally we get Rio McClintock's story (again untitled but we're thinking A McClinstock Christmas) in December 2010. Rio is an illegitimate son of the McClintocks' father and the black sheep of the family. Best wishes to everyone for a healthy, happy 2010!
Paula Graves:
I'm very excited about 2010, because I have four books coming out from
Harlequin Intrigue, all part of my brand new Cooper Justice
series, which features the Cooper Family of Chickasaw County, Alabama.
Sylvie Kurtz: For me, waiting until my birthday to plan my new year works better and proves more effective. There's just too much going on at the beginning of the calendar year with the holidays and all that entails. This new year starts with teaching two online courses: one on revision (January) and one on structure (February). (See calendar below) Wishing everyone a healthy, happy, and prosperous New Year! Dana Marton: I can't wait for my 2010 books to come out. It's my favorite batch so far. I already have the first, The Socialite and the Bodyguard, in stores right now. (You can read the 1st chapter on my web site.) Then later in the spring I'll have two more of the Defending the Crown series coming, Stranded With the Prince and Royal Captive. Finishing up the year is The Spy Who Saved Christmas in November. I hope you'll like these books as much as I do. Happy New Year!
Julie Miller: 2010 will be a busy
year for me. I’ll be writing the four new books in my upcoming The
Precinct: S.W.A.T. Team 1 miniseries for Intrigue, the first of
which will be released in October of this year. Right now, we’re titling
it Protecting the Society Princess. Before that, however,
I’ll have a stand-alone Precinct book out in April called Takedown.
This one features a hero and heroine who’ve appeared as supporting
characters in several of my Precinct books, Jillian Masterson, and Capt.
Michael Cutler. Many of you readers have written or emailed to ask about
when Jillian or the captain would have a story of his/her own, and I
listened! So Takedown is my gift to you. Enjoy! Plus, Captain Cutler is
leader of KCPD’s premiere S.W.A.T. Team 1, so Takedown
will introduce the members of his team--the future heroes of my
S.W.A.T. Team 1 books. Patricia Rosemoor: 2010 holds a special reason for me to celebrate--my 50th Intrigue, Saving Grace , will be published in April. It's difficult to believe I've written so many, but my first Intrigue was published in 1986, 25 years ago. And yes, I was a child prodigy at the time...
Joanna Wayne: I'm very excited
about my projects for 2010. In March, Cowboy Delirium will
be released. It's something I've never tried before. I've created
exciting finales for two of my favorite series, all wrapped up in one
explosive read. I've had so many requests for Jaime Collingsworth's
story that I knew I had to find the perfect man for her. And what better
man could there be than one of my former Navy SEAL heroes for the
Special Ops, Texas series? I hope you'll find the combustible
combination as exciting as I did. Kay Thomas: Bulletproof Bodyguard, my third Intrigue, is being released in April. It’s the story of a young, widowed mother who is forced to help with a casino robbery on the Mississippi coast when her three-year-old son is kidnapped by ‘guests’ staying at her bed and breakfast. Her only hope is an undercover cop with a troubled past who must choose between saving his career and saving her child. Right now, I’m writing my fourth book for Harlequin titled Bulletproof Hearts, scheduled for 2011. |
